Cassity is a wirey haird little girl with some special circumstances.  When she came into rescue she was in less than stelar shape.  She had bad teeth but they have been cleaned and pulled.  She is heartworm positive but not symptamatic.  However when bloodwork was done to check her health before heartworm treatment it was found that she has some kidney disease.  She was put on a kidney diet and rechecked and while her numbers are better it has not resolved.  She doens't have any special needs aside from the kidney diet.  She's a wonderful little dog, happy all the time, easy to care for, well behaived.  She is terrific with other dogs, cats and kids.  Low activity level, happy to just be with you.  Loves car rides.  Will walk on a leash but will follow right with you un-leashed, never runs away or wonders off.  This perfect little dog may not be in perfect health but deserves a wondeful home as much as the next.  If you have questions about her health or care please e-mail Tina at tropicllc@msn.com.  

While our minimun adoption fee is $150 adoption fee negotiable for this special little dog.

Cassity has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.  She has also had a complete senior work-up consisting of blood counts, organ function tests, urinalysis, heartworm and fecal parasite exam.
