Takoda and Mika were originally adopted when they were 5 months old, they are just over a year now.  They originally came to the rescue when the landlord changed their minds about allowing dogs.  The mother was a Husky, and the dad a Shepherd.  It was a family members dog in Alabama that had the puppies.  After being adopted and in their home for 7 months, their new owner returned them due to martial issues.  Mika and Takoda have now spent over a year together and need to be placed together.  They love to play together, and then sleep together.   Both love to cuddle and curl up with you on the couch.  Mika is 45# and Takoda is 55#.  Both have been heartworm checked and on prevention.  Both are kennel trained, Takoda doesn't love kennel. Attention Applicants Renting: Please know your properties pet policies before applying. This includes height/weight or breed restrictions; pet deposits and additional fees. Make sure to include this and landlord/property manager contact information in your application.  These are not apartment dogs due to their size.
