Hazel is a 2 year old female.  She's fun, active, loves to play, great with other dogs and kids.  She's OK with cats, non-aggressive, but her puppy antics can aggravate an intolerant cat.  She's house and crate trained, knows sit and shake and listens very well.  She is very well behaved but is still a puppy and therefore not the lay around the house type.  She likes to be inside with her family but still loves to go for walks and play in the yard with other dogs.  Although she will sleep in her kennel she would prefer to sleep in bed with her owner.  She doesn't take up much room and will guard against sneaky intruders.  She would enjoy a home with kids or anyone willing to play and spend time with her.  She loves water and will play in the hose for hours.  Hazel is an all around, easy to care for, good dog.  She will make a great family pet.     

 

All dogs/puppies available for adoption through SVPR have been tested for Heartworm and are on Heartworm prevention, are neutered or spayed, have received all age-appropriate vaccines, and are free of internal and external parasites.
