Madeline is a beagle mix female born in January 2009.  Turned into a shelter pregnant she promptly gave birth to 5 adorable little mutts.  Madeline is a weak positive for heartworms but will need to be treated none the less.  Once she is done nursing she can start treatment and be adopted.  She's only about 25 pounds full grown.  She's timid at first but bonds quickly with her caretakers.  Once settled into a home she will make a wonderful companion dog due to her deep attachment to those that love her.  Good with other dogs and cats.  Crate trained.

 

Maddie should be ready for adoption in June 2010.  Teddy Bear is one of her puppies and is also up for adoption.

  

All dogs/puppies available for adoption through SVPR have been vet checked, vaccinated appropriately for their age, spayed/neutered, treated for internal and external parasites, and microchipped with Home Again.  Dogs over 8 months are tested for heartworm disease.  If interested please e-mail Tina at tropicllc@msn.com for an application.
