This is Leo. He was born around the end of May/beginning of June 2007. Leo is a special kitty and will need a special person to adopt him. Leo is sweet, friendly and LOVES other cats. Leo will come when you call, he will let you pet him. Leo just does not like to be picked up or held. He was abandoned in an alley and when he first came to his foster moms home, he would just shiver in the corner and hiss. He has come a long way and because he is still a baby, can go still farther - with the right family and someone who is willing to dedicate the love, time and patience to help Leo feel comfortable. He is not aggressive at all and if he does feel threatened - he will retreat under a bed or table. This does not last long and he eventually wanders back out because he has a need to know what is going on. He absolutely adores other cats and would need to go to a home that already has at least one. Leo is neutered and has all his age appropriate shots including rabies. He is litter box trained and loves to play and scratch on his climbing post or one of those cardboard scratchers with the ball that runs around it. All cats/kittens available for adoption through SVPR have been tested for feline Leukemia and AIDS, are neutered or spayed, have received age-appropriate vaccines, and are free of internal and external parasites.
