Dori is a wonderfully marked black and white female about 6-7 years old. Poor Dori has some history in shelter and rescue. Originally she was surrendered to a high kill shelter by her original owner when they moved. That's when she was taken into rescue the first time to avoid euthanasia. Then her rescuer fell on hard times and back to the shelter she went. This time I came to her rescue. She was adopted in Feb. 2006. Well low and behold Dori just showed back up at the shelter a third time. She was brought in by someone that found her. Attempts to contact the adopter have failed. So Dori is once again on the hunt for a home, hopefully FOREVER this time. She's a sweet, petite little cat. Easy going, laid back, a breeze to care for. She enjoys attention and will give little nips if you stop petting her before she's done being petted. She's ok with other cats and dogs and is front declawed. All cats/kittens available for adoption through SVPR have been tested for feline Leukemia and AIDS, are neutered or spayed, have received age-appropriate vaccines, and are free of internal and external parasites.
