My name is GENIE - I am a male DLH silver torbie Maine Coon Mix. I am about 10 months. I was abandoned at the local animal services shelter because my owners 'had too many animals already'. Believe it or not, I was in the 'kill room' ready to be 'put down' when the nice people at SVPR stepped in and pulled me out. I am VERY affectionate - I don't know why I was dumped. I am a bit shy to start until I get to know you - but I am very sweet and docile, and absolutely beautiful. I will make fabulous member to a loving family. I will be ready to go home in mid-August after I have a chance to recover from my ordeal. Pre-adoption applications are being accepted. All cats/kittens available for adoption through SVPR have been tested for feline Leukemia and AIDS, are neutered or spayed, have received age-appropriate vaccines, are free of internal and external parasites, and have been microchipped. The standard adoption fee is $85 per cat.
