Sam is a huge solid white male cat that was born in 1998. He's lovable, calm and laid back, enjoys attention and is just an all around nice guy. He's ok with dogs, cats, kids, everything. If you're looking for a laid back cat to sit by your side while you read, watch tv, or work on the computer then Sam's the guy for you. He's low maintenance and will make a nice companion cat. Sam has tested FIV positive, because he was well cared for and neutered when he was turned in to the shelter we think he may have had the FIV vaccine. There is no way to differentiate between a truly positive cat or a vaccinated cat therefore we are listing him as special needs in case he is in fact FIV positive. All cats/kittens available for adoption through SVPR have been tested for feline Leukemia and AIDS, are neutered or spayed, have received age-appropriate vaccines, and are free of internal and external parasites.
