My name is WINSTON - I am a male DLH brown tabby Persian. I am about 4 - 5 years old. I was abandoned at the local animal shelter because my owners no longer wanted me. While there I got sick and was placed in the 'kill room' ready to be 'put down' when the nice people at SVPR stepped in and pulled me out. Now I am a real big furry lug of a guy. I am VERY affectionate - I don't know why I was dumped. I will make fabulous member to a loving family. I will be ready to go home in mid-April after I have a chance to recover from my ordeal. I will require a special low-phosphorous food to help keep me well, but that is a small sacrifice for such a great guy. Pre-adoption applications are being accepted. All cats/kittens available for adoption through SVPR have been tested for feline Leukemia and AIDS, are neutered or spayed, have received age-appropriate vaccines, are free of internal and external parasites, and have been microchipped.
