Flossie is a Basset hound mix female born on 1/1/09. She is a the sweetest little hound dog you'll ever lay eyes on. She's always happy and full of life. She's great with other dogs, cats and children. Guaranteed to light up your life. She is sister to Ratchet who is also available for adoption. She will likely be a large dog. Bassethounds make great pets and don't need alot of exercise. Care should be taken to not overfeed them and allow them to become overweight. Flossie was purchased by her original owner as a pure bred basset but without any papers. We suspect she is mixed, maybe with bloodhound. All dogs/puppies available for adoption through SVPR have been vet checked, vaccinated appropriately for their age, spayed/neutered, treated for internal and external parasites, and microchipped with Home Again.
