9 German Shepherd/ Mountain Cur mixed pups were turned in to a local high kill shelter. The shelter called rescue and we quickly got the pups transfered safely to rescue.

The pups are lively, spunky little balls of energy. They are aprx. 6 weeks old. There are 4 female and 5 male pups. 2 of the males and 2 females are brown with black, all the other pups have various brindle and white markings. All are beautiful.

We were told mom was a German Shepherd dog. The owners had an intact Cur and Pit on the property and are unsure which was the father of the pups. Since the puppies do not have Pit Bull characteristics we are assuming the dad was the Cur.

The pups are still too young to be spayed and neutered. They will likely need 2 week in foster care before being ready to transition to new homes. We are taking advance applications and deposits on puppies now.

All dogs/puppies available for adoption through SVPR have been vet checked, vaccinated appropriately for their age, spayed/neutered, treated for internal and external parasites, and microchipped with Home Again. Dogs over 8 months are tested for heartworm disease. Puppy adoption fees start at $200.00
