Gizmo is a 6 year old Quaker. He was surrendered to rescue in horrible condition. His beak was so overgrown it was starting to cut his neck. He has been to the avian specialist and had his beak trimmed. ( See his "before" picture) He now receives daily liver and immune support. He has been given a clean bill of health but he will need regular beak trims. Gizmo can talk. He says, "Thank You", "MMM, that tastes good.","Let me out." as well as another phrase we can not mention online. He will need some vocabulary rehab. Gizmo can be cage aggressive. We are working on step ups from within his cage and he has made remarkable improvement. He is fine once he out of his cage. Gizmo needs a home where he can spend a lot of time out of his cage and be part of the family. Experienced bird owners prefered. Avian vet reference required.
