Lincoln is a male brindle and white boxer about 3 years old.  We don't have any history on him since he was found tied to the gate at a high kill shelter.  He did stray time and wasn't claimed and then came into rescue.  While he wasn't neutered it is still believed someone took some time with him.  He was in good body condition and well trained.  He is compeltely house and crate trained.  He walks well on a leash, doesn't pull and stops whenever you stop.  He is quiet and calm and has so far done well with dogs in his foster homes.  He is over interested in cats in that he will stare at them as opposed to just ignore them.  He will respond to the leave it command but we have not allowed him to interact with cats for their safety.  We do not recommend a home with cats at this time.  So far Lincoln has proved to be a really good dog and should make a wonderful companion.  If interested please complete an application on our www.svpr.rescuegroups.org website and e-mail Tina at tropicllc@msn.com.

All dogs/puppies available for adoption through SVPR have been vet checked, vaccinated appropriately for their age, spayed/neutered, treated for internal and external parasites, and microchipped with Home Again.  Dogs over 8 months are tested for heartworm disease.
