Racetrac was found on the side of the road having been hit by a car. He was almost dead, in a comatose state, the finder brought him to a vet clinic and left him there. Measures were taken to stabalize him and when staff left for the night they didn't think he would make it. But morning brought a whole new beginging for the cat found half dead by the racetrac. He was standing and stable. Bloodwork showed he had some liver disease due to being a large cat and not eating well. He was someone's cat at some point because it was evident he was once a large cat and had been neutered and front declawed. No micorchip and no collar or tag and no knowledge of how long he had been lost made it next to impossible to find him owners. He was treated and steadly gained weight and recovered. He has the best personality and gets along with everyone. He fears nothing and his outgoing nature would make him a wonderful companion for anyone. He lives with dogs, cats and kids and seems to just enjoy being alive. If you are interested in Racetrac please e-mail Tina at tropicllc@msn.com and complete an application on our www.svpr.rescuegroups.org website.
