Dixon is a yorkie chihuahua mix male born 2/22/13.  Sometimes called a chiorkie.  His  crazy haired brother Apollo is also available.  A little timid at first Dixon is a great little lap dog once he knows he can trust you.  Never aggressive, raised with children, dogs and cats.  House and crate trained, 12 pounds full grown.  If interesed please complete an application on our www.svpr.rescuegroups.org website and e-mail Tina at tropicllc@msn.com.

Please email or call the specific foster listed with the description of the animal you are inquiring about for any questions.  You may fill out an application online using the Forms tab.  Most of our fosters work in addition to volunteering with the shelter, so they will try to respond as quickly as they are able.   Dogs are $150-$250 to adopt depending on age and breed.  All dogs/puppies available for adoption through SVPR have been vet checked, vaccinated appropriately for their age, spayed/neutered, treated for internal and external parasites, and microchipped with Home Again.  Dogs over 8 months are tested for heartworm disease.
