Taina is a pure breed sesame shiba inu female born May 28 2009.  Raised with one owner since she was a puppy she was loved and cared for.  Her owner traveled and worked long hours and didn't feel it was fair to her and gave her up in hopes of finding a more appropriate home.  She is gentle natured and sensitive, true to her breed.  She may take a day or two to warm up to you but once she is comfortable she is playful and loving.  She listens well, is very treat motivated, rides well in the car and is house trained and crate trained.  Although she wasn't raised with other dogs or cats since coming into rescue she has done well.  If you are interested please complete an application on our www.svpr.rescuegroups.org website and email Tina at tropicllc@msn.com with quesitons.

Please email or call the specific foster listed with the description of the animal you are inquiring about for any questions.  You may fill out an application online using the Forms tab.
Most of our fosters work in addition to volunteering with the shelter, so they will try to respond as quickly as they are able.

All dogs/puppies available for adoption through SVPR have been vet checked, vaccinated appropriately for their age, spayed/neutered, treated for internal and external parasites, and microchipped with Home Again.  Dogs over 8 months are tested for heartworm disease.
