Rocket is about 6 months old. He is a German Shepherd dog, maybe mixed with hound or cur. Rocket is very smart, trainable, and aims to please. He knows his basic commands. He also has lots of energy and loves to play. Rocket is good with cats and other dogs. He especially loves playing with larger dogs. Rocket is crate trained and mostly potty trained. He is working on his leash manners. He would be best in a home with older children.

Most of our fosters work in addition to volunteering with the shelter, so they will try to respond as quickly as they are able.
All dogs/puppies available for adoption through SVPR have been examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated appropriately for their age, spayed/neutered, treated for internal and external parasites, and microchipped with Home Again. Dogs over 8 months are tested for heartworm disease.
