Welcome to Suntree-Viera Pet Rescue website!
Suntree-Viera Pet Rescue (SVPR) Inc. has saved over 8,000 animals that were destined to die in Brevard County shelters since 2004. SVPR is Brevard's only All-Breed, no-kill, for-impact rescue. We save dogs, puppies, kittens, cats, small animals, and birds. We are a registered non-profit 501(c)3 operated by tax-deductible donations and volunteers. People ask how they can help, and this is how:
- Spay/neuter a shelter dog or puppy. $65.00
- Spay/neuter a shelter cat or kitten. $65.00
- Spay/neuter a shelter bunny. $55.00
- Donate for major medical procedures
Donate money for food
- Pet food & toys can be donated by leaving the items at Petco in Viera labeled "for SVPR"
Re-homing an animal: If the animal is senior or a canine over 30 pounds, the only option is for a courtesy post on our website. Please be sure to send us a description of the pet's personality, as well as age, gender, approximate breed, current size, disposition around small children and other animals, current medical and vaccination status, as well as any health-related special needs or concerns. At least one picture will be necessary to post. The listing will go up as soon as we have all of the necessary information. Please also be sure to include reliable contact information- name, phone number, and email address. Because of the overwhelming number of unwanted pets, it may take some time to place your animals, which can range from weeks to months. SVPR can also send you a list of other rescues in the area. Email email@example.com.
Volunteers: We are in need of volunteers to help clean the kennels at the Petco in Viera. Takes about 1 hour a day, and you get to visit with some great kitties! Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you are able to help.
