The Mission of Suntree Viera Humane Society, Inc., is to alleviate pain and suffering of all animals.  Specifically, we advocate the spay and neutering of all domestic dogs and cats as well as feral cats. 

Furthermore, we support voucher programs to spay and neuter animals for low income families and individuals.  We educate the public on their responsibility for their pet(s) medical and emotional care.  We support a federal law to spay or neuter pets. 

We continue to provide foster care to many animals as they wait to be adopted.  We spay and neuter every animal prior to adoption.  All animals receive age appropriate vaccinations and any necessary medical care.  Our mission is to have a low cost spay and neuter clinic.

Because of so many irresponsible pet owners here in Brevard County, the number of unwanted pets seems to be at an all-time high. Unfortunately, we can't take in every animal needing placement as we do not have a shelter and our foster volunteers’ homes are usually full to overflowing!  If you need assistance placing a cat or dog, please contact Tina at tropicllc@msn.com or Melinda at svpr@bellsouth.net. If you are interested in an animal that is listed on the SVPR site and would like to see the animal, please contact the foster parent by phone or email to make arrangements as we cannot bring all of our fosters to Petco or PetSmart every weekend. Also, please note that most of the foster parents work full time jobs and are not always able to respond to your inquiry immediately. If you send an e-mail or leave a voice mail, please allow at least a day for a response. Thank you for your patience!
