Emma flew in all the way from the Bahamas. She is a Potcake mix. The Bahama Potcake is a mixed breed dog that is described to have a "shepherd look." Emma is mostly black with some tan. She is now about 6 months old and currently weighs 18-20 pounds. Emma has a quiet and somewhat shy demeanor. We are working on her potty and leash training.
The adoption fee is $250 for a puppy. Emma will not be available for adoption until after 3/13/16 however we are accepting applications at this time. Most of our fosters work in addition to volunteering with the shelter, so they will try to respond as quickly as they are able.
All dogs/puppies available for adoption through SVPR have been examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated appropriately for their age, spayed/neutered, treated for internal and external parasites, and microchipped with Home Again. Dogs over 8 months are tested for heartworm disease.
