Febi flew in all the way from the Bahamas. She is a Potcake mix. The Bahama Potcake is a mixed breed dog that is described to have a "shepherd look." Febi is brown and tan. She is about 6 months old and currently weighs 20-22 pounds. She is very active. She loves to play and is extremely enthusiastic about treats (she could barely sit still for her photo shoot). Febi walks on a leash very well, she is good at listening but she wants to investigate the world around her. We are working on her potty training.
The adoption fee is $250 for a puppy. Febi will not be available for adoption until after 3/13/16 however we are accepting applications at this time. Most of our fosters work in addition to volunteering with the shelter, so they will try to respond as quickly as they are able.
All dogs/puppies available for adoption through SVPR have been examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated appropriately for their age, spayed/neutered, treated for internal and external parasites, and microchipped with Home Again. Dogs over 8 months are tested for heartworm disease.
